About Denise

Denise Lavigne has been teaching and coaching golf for over 35 years. She is a Class A member of the LPGA, PGA of Canada and Swiss PGA. She is also a member of the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) and a certified golf fitness trainer with Titleist Performance Institute. She is also a staff member with Callaway Golf Company.

Having graduated from FIU Florida on a "Golf Scholarship" with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, Denise is now Director of Instruction at The Club at Quail Ridge in Boynton Beach, Florida for the winter season, and Teaches at Pinegrove Country Club in Montreal Qc. area, during the summer months.

Denise was the 2010 Swiss National Ladies and Girls Coach after teaching at Golf Club de Genève, Geneva Switzerland for 15 years from 1990 to 2005. In 2009, she coached the Quebec ladies' team at the "Canada Games" in P.E.I (1 silver-2 bronze medals). In 2006, as Golf Quebec's head coach, she lead the Junior Girls team to a 1st place victory in both team and individual events.

Denise is committed to constantly update her teaching and coaching skills and to improve her knowledge of the game.

Her philosophy: "fit the students' needs and make the learning process a fun experience!"

Her accomplishments as a player: Quebec Amateur champion in 1980, and 3 times runner-up in Canadian Championships as Professional, Amateur and Junior. She played in the US Amateur Championship, the European and Asian tours, Major LPGA events, as well as the U.S. mini-tours.

Throughout her career Denise developed and helped elite junior players graduate to amateur and professional levels.
